I have been exhibiting my photography throughout Maine and New England for the past fifteen years. In that time my work has included figure studies, portraits, still life and landscapes. I travel extensively when time permits, in North America, Europe and Japan. My photographic work includes the use of various format cameras on traditional films, and my most recent work includes digital stills and video installation. The photographic prints are chromogenic prints, digital capture printed on traditional color photographic paper. The latest body of work explores communication and connection between individuals through the metaphorical use of dance imagery. My background in photography includes work with J. Seeley at Wesleyan University, Middletown, Connecticut; Tom Fischer and Steve Bliss at Savannah College of Art and Design, Georgia; Jere DeWaters in Maine and Sandra Stark in Boston. I have an MFA from the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University, with a focus on digital imaging and digital video. In addition to teaching fill time at Wiscasset High School, I also teach Photo 101 for the University of Maine at Augusta.
The work available for purchase through Smugmug is only my event photography, as well as snapshots for family and friends.
